About Connie

My name is Connie Ngu, I am a Malaysian born Chinese, went to college in New Zealand, and I am an Australian citizen as well. I like to travel, learn languages & cultures, and challenge myself every day by learning something new. I have two wonderful children, who support me 100% in this great cause for the families and children across Tampa Bay area.

I am running for Tampa Bay Woman of the Year because I am a proud cancer survivor. Therefore, I understand the stress, anxieties, depressions that these children and families in need are feeling and going through. I want to give back to help those that are in need with the blessings I have received from God by having a second in life.

Fun facts about me: I can do ballroom dancing and I speak 7 languages.
